Photo Instructions

  • 80% of the face must be visible, including ears, without a mask.

NTA JEE Main 2026 (Session I – January) – FAQ

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026 is conducted by NTA for admission to B.Tech / B.E / B.Arch / B.Plan courses in NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutes.

  • Exam Dates: 21 – 29 January 2026

  • Admit Card: Available 3 days before the exam

  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) in 2024 or 2025, or are appearing in 2026.

  • No age limit for appearing in JEE Main 2026.

  • Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the official NTA portal.

  • Fill the online application form, upload documents, and pay the exam fee.

  • Take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.

  • Paper 1 Only:

    • General Male: ₹1000, EWS/OBC Male: ₹900, Female (Gen/OBC/EWS): ₹800, SC/ST: ₹500
