SSC GD Constable Selection Process 2024–25

The selection of candidates for SSC GD Constable recruitment is conducted in multiple stages. Candidates must qualify each stage to move to the next.

Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

  • Online objective-type examination

  • Questions from General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Mathematics, and Hindi/English

  • Negative marking applicable

  • Candidates are shortlisted for PET/PST based on CBT merit

Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  • Candidates shortlisted from the written examination are called for document verification.
  • Original certificates related to education, age, category, and identity are checked at this stage.

Stage 3: Physical Standard Test (PST)

  • Measurement of height, chest (male), and weight
    • Candidates must meet prescribed physical standards
